Dust off that bicycle sitting in the corner of your garage and join Bill Knuff for an easy paced ride on the Nashua River Rail Trail.  This ride will begin at 71 Smith Street in Groton and follow the Rail Trail for a leisurely paced ten mile ride to East Pepperell and back.

Stops along the way to enjoy the scenery including the Groton School Pond, views of the new Indian Hill Music Center, murals created by students from Groton School, paddocks and pasture lands, and views of the Nashua River make this ride very accessible.  In East Pepperell we will stop for ice cream then retrace our route back to Groton experiencing an entirely new ride as we take in the scenery from the opposite direction.

Register for this event by visiting our website at www.grotonneighbors.org or email to service@grotonneighbors.org.  As always, you can call us at  (978) 272-0123 and ask the Office Staff to complete your registration.

Don’t be put off by the distance.  The pace will be slightly more than a brisk walk in the woods.  Your bike will do the rest.  The riding pace will ensure the group starts together and finishes together.  For safety, space is limited to 10 riders.  Don’t forget to wear a helmet.

There is plenty of parking at 71 Smith Street to the left behind the barn building.  You will also be able to get air for your tires, seat height adjustment, chain lubricant, or other simple repairs at “Bill’s Bike Shop”.  I look forward to riding with you.
